Schmidt Kramer partner and Pennsylvania car crash lawyer Scott Cooper spoke at the Pennsylvania Association for Justice’s 32nd annual Big Auto Insurance Law program on May 19, 2014 at the Sheraton Hotel in Harrisburg. The topic was uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage and insurance bad faith.
Cooper, immediate past president of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, touched on a variety of subjects related to uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage, including the written request for lower limits, household/family car exclusions, and workers’ compensation exclusions.
Cooper also spoke about insurance bad faith, and referenced a few different and valuable cases, such as Allstate vs. Wolfe, which delved into the topic of assigning a bad faith claim against an insurer to a third party.
The Pennsylvania Association for Justice wants people like you to get the justice they deserve and are often denied because of the insurance company.
If you were the victim of a car accident and are living with injuries as a result, a Pennsylvania car crash lawyer from Schmidt Kramer wants to help you get the compensation you are entitled to.
You simply cannot trust the insurance company to give you what you are owed. The insurance company’s job is to protect the person they insure, not the victim. They will do all they can to prevent you from getting the compensation you are entitled to.
