Some traditions become important because people keep coming back to them. For 39 years, the UCP/Schmidt Kramer Golf Tournament has brought together businesses, golfers, sponsors, and friends from across Central Pennsylvania to support a cause that matters to our community.
On October 12, 2026, Schmidt Kramer will host the 39th Annual UCP/Schmidt Kramer Golf Tournament at the Country Club of Harrisburg to benefit United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Central Pennsylvania.
The tournament is a day on the course, but its impact reaches well beyond it. Funds raised help UCP of Central Pennsylvania provide services and support to individuals and families throughout the region. For Schmidt Kramer, being part of that work year after year is a tradition we are proud to continue.
How You Can Still Be Part of the 2026 Tournament
You don’t have to be a golfer to take part. There are several ways to support UCP through this year’s tournament, whether you’re joining us on the course, sponsoring the event, or putting your business’s name behind the cause.
Schmidt Kramer partner, Gerard C. Kramer chairs the tournament. To learn more or register, visit the UCP/Schmidt Kramer Golf Tournament page.
- Sponsor the tournament: Sponsorship opportunities offer businesses a chance to support UCP and be part of this longstanding Central Pennsylvania event.
- Advertise: Place an ad in the tournament program or a sign on the course to show your support on tournament day.
- Play golf: Join us at the Country Club of Harrisburg for a day of golf and a cause that has brought the community together for nearly four decades.
Interested in Supporting UCP Throughout the Year? Here Are Some Opportunities
The tournament comes around once a year, but UCP’s work continues every day. If you would like to support UCP beyond the tournament, you can make a donation or volunteer anytime throughout the year.
Every sponsor, golfer, advertiser, donor, and volunteer has helped make this tournament possible for 39 years. We are grateful to everyone who has been part of that history—and we hope you’ll join us for the next chapter on October 12.
Looking Ahead to Hosting the 40th Annual Tournament Next Year — Will You Join Us?

As we look forward to the 40th tournament next year, we are truly grateful for the people and businesses who have supported this event, making this tradition such an important and lasting part of our community.
We look forward to seeing you on the course October 12th!
