About Elizabeth L. Kramer

Elizabeth L. Kramer grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where she attended Central Dauphin High School. She attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she double majored in Ethics, History, and Public Policy and International Relations and Policies. She then attended from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, where she graduated in May of 2017. During law school, Elizabeth was an editor on the Penn State Journal of Law & International Affairs and was a certified legal intern for the law school’s Rural Economic Development Clinic and the Family Law Clinic.
Following law school, Elizabeth returned to Harrisburg to practice law. Initially, her work primarily focused on representing local government and officials in Federal civil rights litigation and defending employers in employment disputes throughout the Commonwealth. During this time, Elizabeth gained valuable experience by litigating cases in state and federal court and handling cases through appeals. Elizabeth also has served as the Solicitor for local government entities in her past work experience and provided general legal guidance and representation to various local governments and entities on a variety of issues spanning from land use/zoning, civil rights, personnel matters, and other matters commonly faced by municipalities.
Elizabeth brings her varied litigation experience to Schmidt Kramer, where she practices in the area of personal injury. She finds great satisfaction in assisting injured individuals navigate the legal process.
In her free time, Elizabeth serves as the team captain for Schmidt Kramer’s Volleyball team in the Dauphin County Bar Association’s League. She also enjoys running, watching movies, cooking, and spending time with her pets (two dogs and a cat) and her fiancé.
