Disasters around the world always make us pause, but when earthquakes struck Colombia recently, the commitment to help took on a deeper and more personal meaning for one member of our team.
Claudia, who was born in Cali and still has family and lifelong friends in Colombia, shared the impact the earthquakes were having on communities there. In response, Schmidt Kramer employees decided to come together to support Claudia by helping the people affected by the disaster there through World Central Kitchen. We supported those efforts even further by matching employee donations dollar-for-dollar.
