Our attorney Jessica Mitchell is going to be the featured speaker at tomorrow’s Lunch N Learn for the North Carolina Advocates for Justice Disability Advocates Section. The virtual seminar is from noon to 1 p.m.
Mitchell will be discussing medical records issues, as attorneys need access to their clients’ full medical records to effectively advocate for their clients. Unfortunately, gaining access to clients’ protected health information is challenging and expensive for legal professionals. Mitchell will discuss how access to protected health information has evolved and provide tips on obtaining this information efficiently and in a cost-effective way.
Lunch N Learn gives those in the Disability Advocates Section (DAS) the chance to learn from other members and DAS lawyers about topics that are important to Social Security Disability practitioners.
Jessica Mitchell focuses her practice on Social Security Disability and workers’ compensation claims. The American Institute of Legal Counsel has named her one of the Top 10 Best Social Security Disability Attorneys. Mitchell is also an active member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives.
