With Pennsylvania lagging in jobs, health care costs at an all time high, and Governor Corbett still not accepting federal medicaid monies, most central Pennsylvania hospitals, especially the bigger ones, still had healthy profit margins for the fiscal year that ended in 2012. That includes PinnacleHealth System and Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, which each posted double-digit margins.
