The Insurance Information Institute is reporting on motorcycle thefts. The National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) said that motorcycle thefts fell 1.5 percent in 2013 from a year earlier, based on data from the National Crime Information Center of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The NICB noted that since 2008 motorcycle thefts have been falling, but that trend seems to be leveling off. The top five makes stolen, the top five states and the top five cities in thefts for 2013 are shown below:
