McEvoy sped up and fled, with officers pursuing south on Route 147. The chase continued to the Mahoning Street exit at Route 642 and entered Milton. McEvoy continued traveling north on Golf

Both McEvoy and Scott had to be removed from the vehicle by rescue personnel.  McEvoy is facing charges which include felony fleeing and eluding, DUI and drug possession. A police report did not list Scott as being charged with any crimes. Both Scott and McEvoy were taken by ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center for moderate injuries.
