Schmidt Kramer is pleased to invite you to join us in helping underprivileged children this holiday season! This year’s toy drive will run from today, November 13, and conclude on December 11, 2023. To participate, you can bring your new and unwrapped gifts to our office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
We look forward to accepting your donations anytime during our normal business hours (Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.). Our office is at 209 State Street.
Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Each year, this organization collects and distributes toys to less fortunate children during the holiday season. The program, which was established in 1947 by Major Bill Hendricks, has become a prominent and successful charitable annual outreach.
Toys for Tots collects new, unwrapped toys from various sources, including businesses, community organizations and individuals. These toys are then distributed to children in need. The goal is to help ensure every child receives a gift during the holiday season.
Over the years, Toys for Tots has expanded its reach, becoming become a nationwide symbol of goodwill. In fact, the 2022 Marine Toys for Tots season was record-breaking, providing an unprecedented 24.4 million toys, games and books for disadvantaged children!
We recognize that our annual Toys for Tots drive is only a success because of you. Without your generous donations and the efforts of Toys for Tots, many disadvantaged children might not receive any presents at all.
