Scott Cooper to Present at Pennsylvania Association for Justice 42nd Annual Auto Law Seminar in May

Scott Cooper with Fox43 newsWe are excited to announce that our partner Scott Cooper will be presenting at the Pennsylvania Association for Justice’s 42nd annual Auto Law Seminar in May.

The seminar takes place on May 14 and 16. It starts at 9 a.m. both days, ending at 12:30 p.m. on May 14 and 12:45 p.m. on May 16.

Cooper’s session is titled: Uninsured & Underinsured “Law and Practice”: A Comprehensive Update of UM/UIM and Bad Faith Case Law, and IFP v. Koken Update, Including Issues Related to the Trial of UM/UIM and Bad Faith Cases

The purpose of the session is to review recent case law on uninsured motorist and underinsured motorist coverage, including cases that are on appeal. Cooper and the other presenters will discuss the household exclusion and the Rush and Gallagher cases. The session will also cover:

  • Joinder of claims
  • Venue
  • Bifurcation
  • Bad faith
  • Voir Dire
  • And more

Those who registered by April 1, 2024, can submit questions for Scott Cooper and Jim C. Haggerty.

Those who attend the seminar are eligible for five substantive CLE credits and one ethics CLE credit. However, you must attend the seminar on both days to receive the ethics credit.
