Man Riding Bicycle Killed In Chambersburg Car Accident

The Chambersburg Public Opinion is reporting that a Chambersburg man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in Southampton Township on Friday, May 3, 2013.  According to reports and police, Jeffrey I. Coons, of Chambersburg was traveling south on Airport Road at approximately 11 p.m. when he was struck from behind by Mark E. Nealy, of Shippensburg, who was driving a 2004 Toyota Sequoia and thrown up over the hood. Nealy was found by police to be under the influence of alcohol and taken into custody for a blood test.
