Dangers of Distracted Driving Are Displayed Through The Eyes Of A Father

Distracted driving is a problem.  April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month and The Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAJ) is trying to show the dangers of it so when you get behind the wheel you put down the cellphone, put down the mascara, put down the hamburger – and drive.

That’s the message that father and PAJ member Joel Feldman of Philadelphia came to the state Capitol yesterday to deliver as part of the recognition of this month’s observance of “Distracted Driving Awareness Month.”

Feldman, whose daughter Casey was killed in 2009 by a distracted driver, has spoken to thousands of teenagers in Pennsylvania and around the nation about his daughter’s sad tale and the dangers of distracted driving through a foundation he established in her name.

For more on the event which was attended by distinguished guests including the Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Granahan Kane, Auditor General Eugene DePasquale, Senator Rob Teplitz and Representative Brandon Neuman, and the dangers of distracted driving go to the pennlive.com website at:
