Bradford And Potter County Car Crashes Kill Two Men

Two crashes during the weekend – one in Bradford County and another in Potter County – claims the lives of two people.

In the first car accident, Brandon Joseph Edwards of Rome, died early Sunday morning June 30, 2013 shortly after his 2006 Jeep Wrangler struck an embankment and a tree before overturning on Overton Road in Bradford County’s Albany Township. He was taken to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, where he later died of his injuries, police said.

Three other males who were riding in the vehicle also were taken to the hospital for moderate injuries, police said. Their ages and identities were not released.

In the second accident Jonathan K, Goerner-Sharp of Lent Hollow Road, Coudersport, was killed when the all-terrain (ATV)vehicle he was operating went off of Rapley Road in Allegany Township and crashed about 10:45 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013.
