Schmidt Kramer is proud to announce that we are hosting our annual food drive from Tuesday, April 23rd to Saturday, May 11th to benefit the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.
Participants are welcome to come to our Harrisburg office located at 209 State Street and drop off donations. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. With each donation, you will receive a Schmidt Kramer mug filled with chocolates. We recommend that you please bring non-perishable items.
The most desired food drive donation items include:
- Tuna
- Cereal
- Peanut butter
- Pasta
- Rice
- Macaroni and cheese
- Canned soup
- Canned fruit and vegetables
- Canned or dried beans
- Pure fruit and vegetable juices
- Baby food, cereal and formula
These types of items are rich in protein and provide adequate nutritional value. All donated items must also be labeled, factory sealed and in good condition.
One in nine people in central Pennsylvania, including one in six children, struggle with hunger. The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank is on a mission to reduce hunger in 27 central Pennsylvania counties, working with over 1,000 partner agencies and programs, including food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency food providers and more.
Our firm is honored to help the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and families and individuals within the local community who need our help the most.
