Perry County ATV Accident Kills Lancaster County Resident

The Lancaster New Era/Lancaster Online are reporting today about a 72-year-old Lancaster County man who died Saturday afternoon in an ATV crash in Perry County.  Orion E. Carter, of Willow Street, died from injuries suffered when the vehicle rolled over him around 2 p.m. in Southwest Madison Township, Perry County Coroner Michael Shalonis said.

Carter was out filling corn feeders when the accident occurred, Shalonis said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Shalonis said.  State police termed the incident an "accidental death" in a brief news release.  They were assisted at the scene by Blain Fire Company and emergency personnel, the police said.
