Melissa Leininger specializes in workers' compensation and Social Security Disability. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Shippensburg University in 2002 and graduated from Widener University School of Law in 2005. At Widener, Ms. Leininger was active in the Trial Advocacy Honor Society and participated in the school's civil law clinic.
Ms. Leininger was selected for inclusion in 2010 and 2011 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® Rising Stars. The Rising Star distinction is awarded to only 2.5 percent of all Pennsylvania lawyers each year and recognizes the top lawyers in Pennsylvania under the age of 40 and/or who have been in practice less than ten (10) years. Ms. Leininger holds professional memberships in the Pennsylvania and Dauphin County Bar Associations, where she is active in the Young Lawyers Division. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, as well as a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Commission on Women in the Profession.
A native of Somerset County, Pennsylvania, Ms. Leininger gives back to the community by organizing the firm's participation in community service activities, such as donating to the Bethesda Mission, serving on the advisory board for Dress for Success, participating in the American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days, contributing to Lee National Denim Day for breast cancer research, volunteering in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, and walking in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. Ms. Leininger is also actively serving as President for a local chapter of Business Networking International.
