Joe Chapman is the firm's most recent addition, having received his Juris Doctorate from the Widener University School of Law in 2008. Mr. Chapman completed his class work at night while managing an insurance business and then working full-time at SchmidtKramer. He earned two academic awards and graduated cum laude.
Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Chapman was an insurance agent/broker for more than a decade. He sold his insurance agency and now contributes his experience to the SchmidtKramer team of lawyers. After joining the firm in January 2007, Mr. Chapman apprenticed with the SchmidtKramer attorneys on their cases in the Courts of Common Pleas surrounding the Harrisburg Area, and in Pennsylvania's Appellate courts. Mr. Chapman is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
Mr. Chapman received a B.A. in history with a minor in business from Eastern Nazarene College, Quincy, Massachusetts, in 1995. He is a native of Union County, Pennsylvania, and was previously a member of the Distribution Committee of the Union County United Way and was an officer and member of the Board of Directors for the Mifflinburg Buggy Museum.
