Pennsylvania State Police Seek Information About Accicent Involving Tow Truck Driver Killed in Cumberland County

Pennsylvania State Police in Cumberland County, Central Pennsylvania are investigating a fatal crash after a tow truck driver was hit and killed early today, January 4, 2011.  Reports are that the unidentified 23-year-old victim was attempting to load a broken down Dodge pickup truck onto a flatbed when he was hit by a tractor trailer. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Cumberland County Coroner.  The tractor trailer, operated by 63-year old John Rosenberger Jr., was from New England Motor Freight.   It happened just after midnight on State Route 581 West, just after the 83 split in Lemoyne.
