Dover Township Car Accident Injures 2

Two people were injured Tuesday evening after a crash at the intersection of Davidsburg Road and Admire Road in Dover Township, according to Northern York County Regional Police Department.

Just before 6 p.m., a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup operated by Ethan Williams, 29, of East Berlin was traveling westbound on Davidsburg Road, police said.

Westbound traffic was stopped at the intersection of Admire Road, waiting for a vehicle to turn left. Police said Williams reported he attempted to stop, but his truck slid on the wet roadway.

The truck continued sliding and entered the eastbound lane, where it collided head-on with an eastbound 2011 Ford Ranger driven by Mark Deyarmin, 52, also of East Berlin.

Deyarmin was trapped in the vehicle and was extricated by Dover Township Fire and Rescue. He was taken to York Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, while Williams had minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 292-3647.
