Lebanon County Crashes On Rural Roads Cause 2 Deaths

Glenn Weaber Sr. of Mine Road died following a crash during the height of the wind and rain brought on by Hurricane Irene. He was pronounced dead at Hershey Medical Center, where he was taken after his vehicle crashed into a parked van, according to police reports. Lorna J. Probasco of Cornwall Manor, died over the weekend at Hershey Medical Center from injuries she sustained in a crash earlier in the week. Police say that Probasco was a passenger in a 2005 Ford Focus which collided with a 2011 Mazda CX9. Probasco and Weaber were the 17th and 18th people to die as a result of accidents on Lebanon County roads this year, according to Daily News records. Rural roads are known for car crashes. Many times they lead to fatalities. Driving with extra caution is even more important when operating a vehicle on a rural road, especially in hazardous conditions.
