An 81-year-old Hanover man was taken to York Hospital Tuesday night with moderate injuries after his car collided with a tractor-trailer on Baltimore Pike in West Manheim Township.

Carroll Rohrbaugh Jr. was driving southbound in a 2009 Nissan sedan at about 9:30 p.m. when his car struck the mid-trailer area of the truck that had pulled out from a parking lot heading north, according to West Manheim police.

The crash occurred in the 2100 block of Baltimore Pike in West Manheim Township Tuesday night.

Rohrbaugh was taken to York Hospital by ambulance.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, Sabourin Yves, 31, of Quebec, Canada, was not injured.

Police said the truck was delivering ATVs to Motosports, 2117 Baltimore Pike.

Traffic was detoured at the scene for more than an hour as crews cleared the area. Pleasant Hill Fire Co. responded to the scene.
