Girl killed in Chambersburg auto accident

The Chambersburg Public Opinion reports that a Chambersburg auto accident involving two vehicles happened when a vehicle that was traveling south veered into the northbound lane and struck another car head on.

A woman and her juvenile passenger were both transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries after the Chambersburg auto accident. A juvenile girl in the other vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene of the Chambersburg auto accident.

Police are unsure if the people in the cars were wearing seat belts at the time of the Chambersburg auto accident.
