Child killed in Harrisburg car accident

WGAL reports an 8-year-old died in a Harrisburg car accident.
The 8-year-old was walking in a crosswalk when he was struck and killed in the 2200 block of Marker Street in Harrisburg as his family was leaving a concert at a local high school. The car accident took place a little past 10 p.m. when a 16-year-old driver hit the 8-year-old boy. The boy was taken to a local hospital and died later that night of his injuries. The 16-year-old driver in the accident stopped after the crash and cooperated with police.
No charges have been filed after this accident.
