State police believe that 80-year-old Margaret Rodgers of New Cumberland was killed when the car she was riding in attempted to make a U-turn while merging from Interstate 81 onto Interstate 78, and was hit by a tractor-trailer. The driver of the vehicle was flown to Penn State Hershey Medical Center. The highway was shut down for hours while crews investigated.
